I have been teaching for twenty-one years, nineteen of them at McKinley Senior High School.  I have a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Arts in English, both from LSU.  I have also earned certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.  I am a Teacher Consultant for the Southeastern Louisiana Writing Project.  I currently serve as English Chair and as a member of the McKinley Instructional Management Team.
