    Library Mission

    To develop information-literate students.

    • You know how to get and use information.

    To encourage independent, responsible learners.

    • You can do a lot on your own; you know when to ask for help; you use others’ ideas to develop your own by acknowledging your sources and not copying them.

    To create readers for life.

    • You read and understand a variety of texts.

The library strives to provide the resources you need for class work and recreational reading.  We house two computer labs, 10,295 books, a variety of magazines, and a set of textbooks for student use.

Your librarian will assist you, individually and in classes, so that you can learn how best to use these resources.

Check out our ONLINE CATALOG for more resources!  Click on the link and find Robert E. Lee High School on the list of schools.  Use your school ID (without the .s) and your password to login.  See what books are checked out to you and when they are due.  Use the catalog to find Accelerated Reader books.  Search WebPath Express to find reliable websites for schoolwork.  (Remember, someone has already evaluated these websites, saving you the work!)
